TLGB HISTORY & POP CULTURE INTERSECT AT ICONIC LA PRIDE PARADE JUNE 8TH IN WEST HOLLYWOOD
GRAND MARSHAL DEMI LOVATO PERFORMS AT LA PRIDE PARADE AND INVITES FANS TO BE PART OF HER MUSIC VIDEO FOR “REALLY DON’T CARE” INSIDE THE OFFICIAL LA PRIDE FESTIVAL
LA PRIDE’s famous Parade returns to the streets of West Hollywood Sunday, June 8th. The Parade, which is free to attend, draws hundreds of thousands to the city yearly and celebrates the history of the TLGB movement, showcases its current diversity with its colorful array of parade entries aimed to excite both the young and the young at heart.
This year’s LA PRIDE Parade will feature 130 entries in total made up of marching bands and contingencies, over-the-top floats, horses, activists, community partners and TLGB Pioneers along with Community Grand Marshals, The Proposition 8 Supreme Court Plaintiffs who will be represented by Paul Katami and Jeff Zarrillo.
One of many key highlights will include the highly anticipated Multi-Platinum Selling Artists & Grand Marshal Demi Lovato, who will perform during the parade from atop her parade float which will work its way down Santa Monica Blvd. Following the parade, Demi Lovato will make her way into the LA PRIDE Festival on San Vicente in West Hollywood park, where the City Of West Hollywood will award her with a key to the city which will be presented to her by Mayor John D’Amico.
Lovatics are being invited to come into the LA PRIDE Festival to be part of her new music video for her single “Really Don’t Care”. Inside the LA PRIDE Festival, Lovato’s Music Video crew has created a large white box where fans can enter and sing along with Lovato’s newest song. Box participants will be filmed and a select few performances will make it into the new video.
