About a half million people are expected to turn out today and participate in the 41st annual Gay Pride Parade.
The parade starts at 11 a.m. and is expected to run through 5 p.m., with festivities planned into the night.
Traffic and parking will be jam-packed in West Hollywood. The parade will start at Crescent Heights Drive and moving west to Robertson Boulevard, but street closures will start at Fairfax Avenue to the west and Doheny Drive to the east. Drivers should also expect side streets near Santa Monica Boulevard to be closed.
