Tel Aviv?s gay pride parade will celebrate its tenth anniversary this Friday 10 June, More than 100,000 tourists are expected at the event.
Tel Aviv is gearing up for 5000 tourists including journalists from the press in Europe expected to visit the city this week for the Gay Pride Parade on June 10.
That’s up 25 percent compared to the number of tourists who came to the parade last year.
The city is preparing for the absorption of the tourists who will participate in dozens of events and parties. There will even be an iPhone application with gay tourist information, and a new web site with the day’s activities.
Most gay tourists in recent years come from Germany, Holland, England and the United States.
