TimPermanent Releases Third Self-Produced Ep – ‘Resident’
Los Angeles – L.A.’s electro-pop marvel, TimPermanent, has created yet another masterpiece with his third, self-produced EP Resident, set for digital and physical release on November 8th with the release party to follow at On The Rox on the Sunset Strip, November 19th.
The 5-song EP features rousing and entrancing tracks like the first single, “Dance Floor Lost”, which was written and produced by TimPermanent. The album was mastered by Jack D. Elliot (Britney Spears, Brandy). Chuck Wild, legendary member of the popular 80’s band Missing Person’s and best known for his chart-topping Liquid Mind? relaxation music series, has also been a sizeable contributor to the album co-producing and co-writing the hard-hitting third track, “Give it To Me”.
TimPermanent’s passion and zest for his new EP, Resident, is apparent with his catchy hooks and soulful lyrics. Ranging from upbeat electronic dance jams like the first single, “Dance Floor Lost” to emotional break up ballads like “In the Dark”, this EP has a little something for everyone from the sexy, futuristic beats to powerful piano melodies.
TimPermanent is a self-taught vocalist and guitarist and attended a conservatory for performing arts in New York City. Tim also co-founded the politically and socially-aware avant-folk band Testosterone Kills, signed to Fortified Records, before relocating to the West Coast to pursue a solo career. In 2008, he released his debut album Record in an unconventional format–a USB Jump Drive and followed it with another successful EP, Marker.
