OFF STUDIO – The Young Professionals ? All Of It But Me ? ft. Anna F.
While The Young Professionals formed in 2010, the genesis of the band dates back to 2008 when up-and-coming producer Johnny Goldstein contacted Ivri Lider – a well known, award-winning Israeli musician – with an idea for a collaboration. Lider initially had to decline due to other work commitments, but a spark had been ignited, which eventually led to booking studio time. Once in the studio, Goldstein focused on creating thumping, thrumming electronic beats while Lider contributed the evocative lyrics and melodies he’s become known for. Before long, they had created an album’s worth of genre-defying material that could perhaps best be described as electro-pop. The duo’s first album in English,?9am to 5pm, 5pm to Whenever, reached the top 10 on iTunes in France and received significant radio play in Europe.
“We are really excited to release this song here in America,” says vocalist Ivri Lider. “The American audience is very important to us since we are very inspired by its music, culture, and art. We always love hearing from our American fans and are looking forward to playing there this year.”
In addition to creating original high-energy electro-pop music, The Young Professionals have quite the remix resume under their belts. Major credits include Tegan and Sara’s “Closer,” Zedd’s “Find You,” Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett’s “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love,” Tove Lo’s “Talking Body.” Moby’s “Almost Home,” Lana Del Rey’s “West Coast,” and several others. Towards the end of 2014, the group collaborated with French superstar Shy’m on a pair of tracks, contributing to the writing and producing process.
Fans can expect a full album release from The Young Professionals later in 2015, as well as a slew of new remixes. For more information on The Young Professionals and “All Of It But Me,” visit:
