Florence + The Machine ‘MTV Unplugged – A Live Album’ Out Now

Following the stunning success of her latest studio album ‘Ceremonials’, Florence + The Machine today release the full live record – ‘MTV Unplugged – A Live Album’.

Recorded on December 15th 2011 in the grand surroundings of the Angel Orensanz synagogue on New York’s Lower East Side, the session saw Flo joined by three of her band members plus a 10 piece Gospel choir.

The set includes acoustic performances of some of the standout tracks from her first two albums including ‘Dog Days Are Over’, ‘Cosmic Love’, ‘Shake It Out’ and ‘No Light, No Light’ plus covers of ‘Try A Little Tenderness’ and the June and Johnny classic ‘Jackson’.

For the ‘Jackson’ cover Flo was joined by Josh Homme who travelled to New York especially to record this stripped back version.
