Dot-Marie Jones and her longtime girlfriend Bridgett Casteen have tied the knot in a private ceremony on Saturday. The actress, best known for playing Coach Beiste on Glee, invited friends and family to a holiday party and surprised them by announcing they were actually there to witness their wedding.
People Magazine has the exclusive:
Close friends of Jones, 49, and Casteen were invited to a holiday party at the couple’s home. The duo then surprised their guests by informing them that they were actually gathered to witness their nuptials.
Jones, who plays Coach Shannon Beiste on the long-running Fox show, popped the question to Casteen at Disneyland during the Gay Days Anaheim weekend in October
The marriage is the first for the actress and the second for her bride, who has two little girls from a previous marriage.
