Chris Rabideau’s Attacker Pleads Guilty To Assault

Out Writter and producer Chris Rabideau was beated by two males at the corner of Ouellette Avenue last year, today one of his attackers pleads guilty in court.

CBC News reports:

One of the two men accused of beating and robbing a man in downtown Windsor, Ont., has pleaded guilty to one charge.

Chris Rabideau was attacked at his apartment building on Ouellette Avenue last year.

One of his attackers, Michael Allard was in court on Friday and pleaded guilty to assaulting Rabideau in the lobby of his building on May 21, 2010. The attack, showing Allard kicking the victim while he was on the ground, was caught on a security camera in the lobby area and was played in court on Friday.

“It was pretty significant evidence,” said defence lawyer John Liddle.
