#DearMe What advice would you give your younger self?
If you could speak to your younger self, what advice and encouragement would you give?
In honor of International Women?s Day (March 8th), YouTube is encouraging people around the world to inspire and empower teenage girls by uploading a video letter to their younger selves with the #DearMe campaign that officially launches today, Tuesday, March 3, 2015.

YouTube is a place where people can come together, share interests, relate experiences and offer each other support. From #ItGetsBetter to #ProudtoPlay, we?ve seen our community inspire and empower those in need of encouragement.
YouTube stars, including Grace Helbig, Michelle Phan, Felicia Day, ?Hannah Hart, Lindsey Stirling IISuperWomanII and Bunny Meyers, are sharing personal experiences as part of the #DearMe video campaign to serve as positive role models and encourage advocacy and conversation about a wide range of topics.
#DearMe already has support from top female leaders, including ?Caroline Kennedy (US ambassador to Japan), Lorraine Candy (Editor in Chief of British Elle magazine) and Gigi Chao(LGBT Activist in Hong Kong). ??We’ve also partnered with third party organizations such as Common Sense Media.
Take part by uploading a video letter to your younger self on YouTube and join the conversation with #DearMe on social media.
You can also put together a video using the #DearMe GIF maker on the YouTube Tumblr page at youtubedearme.com.
