Russian journalist Anton Krasovsky gets fired after coming out as gay on the air

Russian journalist Anton Krasovsky announced that he is gay on live television and was fired from his job.

Krasovsky, 37, made the announcement on the KontrTV networke arlier this year:

“I?m gay, and I?m just the same person as you, my dear audience, as President Putin, as Prime Minister Medvedev and the deputies of our Duma.”

Since then, the footage of his announcement has been deleted from the internet. He was fired the same night that he made the announcement at the end of the show.
