About the film:

On a Friday night after hanging out with his straight mates, Russell heads out to a nightclub, alone and on the pull. Just before closing time he picks up Glen. And so begins a weekend – in bars and in bedrooms, getting drunk and taking drugs, telling stories and having sex ? that will resonate throughout their lives.

WEEKEND was shot in October 2010 in Nottingham, UK and premiered at SXSW Film Festival in March 2011 where it picked up the Emerging Visions Audience Award. The European Premiere is at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival playing in the Forum of Independents Competition. In the US, it will be distributed by Sundance Selects and by Peccadillo Pictures in the UK.

Sexy actors Tom Cullen and Chris New play the starring roles of this film directed by Andrew Haigh, written ByAndrew Haigh and produced By Tristan Goligher
