“Morgan” A Genre Defining Film By Michael Akers

A young NYC man, in a wheelchair after an accident, finds a reason to live and thrive after he meets an another man.

About the film:

From director MICHAEL AKERS (Gone But Not Forgotten, Phoenix) and producer SANDON BERG (Gone, But Not Forgotten, Phoenix) comes another genre defining film that centers on MORGAN (Leo Minaya, Manito, How the Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer), a young man who spirit and drive prevents him from accepting his new life as a paraplegic. When he meets DEAN (newcomer Jack Kesy), Morgan finds himself reverting to his old way, ways that lead to his crippling accident in the first place.

With amazing performaces by Darra “Like Dat” Boyd (VH1’s hit Flavor of Love), Madalyn McKay (Taffy) and Theodore Bouloukos (Vacationland, Between Something and Nothing) and gorgeous cinematography by Chris Brown (Phoenix), MORGAN is a powerful story of perseverance, determination and, of course, love.

MORGAN will premiere at ?Out on Film? in Atlanta on Monday October 3.
