British-born Australian actress Magda Szubanski has pledged her support for gay marriage in a Valentine’s Day statement in which she reveals her own sexuality.

MAGDA Szubanski fought back tears as she came out on national TV.
The Kath & Kim star said she chose Valentine’s Day to declare she was gay as she lent her voice to the fight for marriage equality.
Szubanski said her friends and family had known she was gay for decades.
“All my colleagues knew, I’m sure all of you knew,” she told the panel on Ten’s The Project.
“It’s not like I was running around hiding it, but there’s a difference between living life openly and living life absolutely publicly.
