Having already a debut album up his sleeve with a string of well known tracks from it such as “Rebellion”, “Robot” and “Fashionista”, for Clinton Paul this didn’t mean to stop here.
After releasing his 6th single from the “I Know Who I Am Now” debut album last May – i.e. “Fashionista” – and promoting it on various TV programmes and events throughout this Summer, Clinton Paul was already thinking ahead. He was already writing new material for his 2nd Studio Album that is scheduled to come out next year. In fact, the first single from this yet still unnamed Album was released Thursday September 19th. The track is called “Blackout”.
When one listens to “Blackout”, one can agree that the sound is typically a Clinton Paul sound. However, the track is quite mature and flirty when compared to what we have already heard from the artist till now. The song also introduces a new sound never heard from this artist before, and that is – Dupstep. Recorded here in Malta at Freetime Productions and mastered in London by Tube Mastering, there are quite a number of upcoming projects related to this song that will be revealed in the coming months, one of them being a music video.
“Blackout” can be requested on various radio stations across Malta and also on Melbourne’s largest ethnic community radio station 3ZZZ, and can also be downloaded from CDBaby.com, Amazon and iTunes.
