Barbra Streisand discusses “I Think It’s Going To Rain Today” from her upcoming album Release Me, a collection of previously unreleased songs spanning her career from 1963 to present.
“I Think It’s Going To Rain Today” was recorded in 1971 during the Stoney End sessions. Randy Newman, who wrote the track, accompanies on piano. The recording was done in one take while the pair were testing out some of Newman’s songs to potentially include on the Stoney End album.
Release Me will be available on vinyl September 25th and CD October 9th.
