After touching fans with the inspiring lyric video for “Spirit Indestructible,” Nelly Furtado is gearing up for the official clip with a behind-the-scenessneak peak. In the video, Nelly explains the song’s relation to spirituality and nature, and shows off breathtaking filming locations on Grouse Mountain, Vancouver. “It’s meant to be empowering and it’s meant to be a tribute to all of us,” says Nelly. “We all have indestructible spirits.” The video is set to premiere on July 18th.
The critically acclaimed, ground-breaking lyric video for “Spirit Indestructible” left MTV “in awe,” and, according to Idolator, “pretty much blows all other lyric videos out of the water.” Nelly’s highly anticipated album, The Spirit Indestructible, is due out September 18th on Interscope.
