From the creative team of Rick Copp (The Brady Bunch Movie) Joe Dietl (The Thin PinkLine) and Ben Zook (Jack and Jill) comes “Where the Bears Are,” a comedy mystery web series that follows the exploits of three gay bear roommates living together in Los Angeles, as they attempt to solve the murder of a party guest that turned up dead in their bathroom. Part “Golden Girls” and part “Murder, She Wrote,” the series consists of 26 four-minute episodes, and is a romp through L.A.’s trendy neighborhood of Silver Lake, and whose mystery eventually reaches it’s climax in the desert outside of Palm Springs.

Nelson (Ben Zook) is forced to return to his old acting class to question his arch nemesis and former comedy duo partner Dickie Calloway (Tuc Watkins) about his thorny relationship with the murder victim and the two wind up in an improv stand off. Acting Teacher: Greg Whipple.

While questioning Wood’s obsessive fan George Ridgemont (George Sebastian), Nelson and Reggie discover that Wood (Joe Dietl) has his own web cam show, and while watching a live feed, are shocked to see a masked intruder ransacking their house. Reggie: Rick Copp. Nelson: Ben Zook.

After studying cell phone video from the night of the party, the Bears hunt down a party crasher who turns out to be a fanatical fan of Wood’s from his Colt modeling days, but who also has a key piece of information about the murder.
