Rory and Mike want to have a baby together. This is where their best friend Kim comes in. The Vessel series follows Kim, Rory and Mike, as they start a very unconventional family.
From the moment the couple ask Kim to be the surrogate mother of their child to the day she gives birth, we see the glories, strains and wonders of bringing a child into the world and being a surrogate all through Kim’s eyes. Filmed ‘Peep Show’ style from Kim’s point of view, every episode is shot as a single continuous take and the dialogue is all improvised.
