New Webshow “BLOOMERS” Delivers Unlikely Gay Portrayals‏

A new web-series created by Matt Palazzolo
Executive Produced by Fernanda Espíndola & Matt Palazzolo
Directed by Henryk Cymerman & Tim Russ

“Bloomers” is a web comedy about a diverse group of friends finding new ways to love, work, and laugh in Downtown Los Angeles. When this city sucks (and we know it can), they always have each other

While “Bloomers” is a comedy for all audiences, the show, created by a gay activist, carries heavy LGBT themes and strong LGBT characters including Brooke, an unemployed young gay man who, in episode 1, sleeps with an older woman for a part time job, and Joanna, a strict Muslim hetereosexual woman who was raised by hijab-wearing lesbian mothers. This Thursday’s episode, “Yoko Ono Homo” focuses on the best bro-mance between gay Brooke and straight Ross.
