Openly gay rugby player Gareth Thomas is starting his own foundation. In its recently created website you can read about the initiative:
Gareth Thomas formed this charity with one aim in mind; to help young people from all different backgrounds inspired other to break the barriers of diversity.
The Vision is to allow young people and those from marginalised groups to fulfil their potential, addressing the challenges of diversity and using role models from the wider sports world.
Gareth says:
The Foundation is about the journey I have made, it reflects my passion, my determination to help others with challenges in their lives.
